Registrations

FEDERAL

  • Central Contractor Registration (CCR) - Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-16 amends the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to require contractor registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchase agreement. Because of this mandatory registration, Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is the single repository of all vendor data (vendors and suppliers) for the federal government. CCR now includes SBA's PRO-NET database of small business certifications. The government checks this database for purchasing products and services. To register, go to www.ccr.gov.

Cage Code: Once you have submitted your CCR registration, you are automatically assigned a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. This code is a five-character ID number that is used within the Department of Defense to identify specific companies.

  • D-U-N-S Number - The Duns & Bradstreet Company is a leading provider of business-to-business credit, marketing, purchasing, and management decision support services world wide. A D&B D-U-N-S Number is a unique 9-digit sequence recognized as the universal standard for identifying and keeping track of more than 80 million businesses worldwide. New York State

New York State budgets for more than $8.5 billion worth of contracts annually. The Office of General Services Procurement Services Group awards thousands of competitively bid contracts for use by State agencies, political subdivisions and other organizations authorized by law to purchase from State contracts. These contracts offer commodities (materials, equipment, supplies and printing), services and technology, including telecommunications. Although most of these contracts are statewide, a portion of them is large volume contracts for single agencies or groups of agencies. Businesses may register to receive bid notices.

Monroe County, NY

Monroe County purchases approximately $50 million worth of commodities through purchase orders and contracts issued by the Monroe County Division of Purchasing and Central Services. Monroe County maintains a database of vendors, along with the commodities they supply. By completing and returning a vendor application, you will better help the office determine specifically what commodity areas are provided by your company. Additionally, Monroe County spends $20 million to $30 million annually on construction and professional services.

Monroe County provides its Monroe County contract database to eligible towns and villages, school districts, fire districts and other districts or public authorities located entirely or partly within Monroe County.

Rochester, NY
