DBE and M/WBE Certification & Networking Event

 

New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is holding this event for minority and women owned construction and engineering firms.

Help increase your business opportunities in heavy highway construction and civil engineering by certifying as a disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) or Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise.   

Date: Tuesday, September 23, 2008 

Time: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Where: Rochester Museum & Science Center, 657 East Avenue, Rochester, NY

This program will:

  • explain the certification process including the differences between the federal and state program
  • provide assistance in completing the applications
  • feature information regarding upcoming NYSDOT projects
  • provide an informal way to meet highway construction and civil engineering firms

Attendees are encouraged to begin the application process before this program, and bring it along to the meeting.
